On This Page
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Caseflow, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
2. Eligibility and Professional Use
Caseflow is designed for professional legal, investigation, inheritance, and related operational workflows. You represent that you are authorized to create and use an account for lawful professional purposes.
3. Account Security and Credentials
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must promptly notify Caseflow of unauthorized access or suspected compromise.
You are also responsible for securing browsers, devices, and any installed app instances used to access Caseflow, including controlling local access to cached workspace content.
4. Customer Content and Responsibilities
You retain ownership of content submitted to Caseflow. You grant Caseflow a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display such content solely to provide and improve the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that your content and processing activities comply with applicable laws, professional obligations, confidentiality duties, and third-party rights.
You must have authority to upload, generate, store, share, or transmit documents, reports, support attachments, and other workspace records through the service.
5. Collaboration, Sharing, and Permissions
Caseflow includes collaboration features such as case invitations, task assignments, shared documents, scoped task visibility, and community connections.
You are responsible for inviting only appropriate users, choosing the correct role or permission scope, and regularly reviewing access to shared matters and files.
6. Community, Messaging, and Support Features
If you use community listings, posts, comments, direct messages, or support ticket messaging, you are responsible for the lawfulness, accuracy, and professionalism of the content you submit.
You must not use communication features to harass, impersonate, spam, mislead, or distribute unlawful or harmful material.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
- Interfere with service integrity, security, or performance.
- Introduce malicious code or harmful automated activity.
- Misuse collaboration, support, community, or sharing tools to expose data beyond authorized recipients.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where legally permitted.
8. Subscriptions, Billing, and Plan Access
Certain features require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing cycle, storage limits, case limits, extra storage add-ons, and included modules are defined by your current plan settings.
You are responsible for applicable fees and charges associated with your selected plan, billing-cycle changes, and any approved storage add-ons.
Third-party billing providers may be used to process payments, manage customer portals, and issue billing records.
9. Generated Documents, Reports, AI Co-pilot, and Inheritance Workflows
Caseflow includes generated documents, case reports, task reports, inheritance workflows, family records, legal-position calculations, estate administration tools, AI co-pilot interactions, and document intelligence summaries.
These features are operational aids only. Caseflow does not provide legal, tax, financial, or professional advice. AI co-pilot responses and document intelligence outputs are generated based on your uploaded documents and may reflect the limitations of AI processing. Users remain responsible for validating AI-generated insights against source documents and for professional review and final use of all outputs.
10. Third-Party Services
Caseflow may rely on third-party providers for authentication, hosting, storage, document delivery, messaging, support, and payment infrastructure. Use of those integrations may be subject to additional third-party terms.
11. Service Availability and Changes
We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue features for operational, security, compliance, legal, or business reasons.
Features may also change when plans, permissions, integrations, or storage limits change.
12. Intellectual Property
Caseflow and related software, design, branding, and documentation are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for rights expressly granted, no license is granted to you.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access where necessary to address terms violations, non-payment, security incidents, legal obligations, misuse of collaboration or communication features, or significant operational risk.
14. Disclaimers
Caseflow is provided on an as is and as available basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Caseflow is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
16. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use periodically. Continued use after updates take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
